The Clinton Franciscans are pleased to announce that Sister Kathleen Bauer, SSND, has officially been named their Appointed Congregational Leader by the Vatican.

The Franciscan Peace Center announces the launch of a new series of daily, one-minute video reflections promoting active nonviolence, recorded by the Sisters of St. Francis, Clinton, Iowa. The reflections will be released each day throughout the annual Season for Nonviolence, beginning January 30.

A powerful and nearly forgotten story of American conquest and Native resilience will be revealed through the award-winning documentaries Lost Nation: The Ioway, Parts 1 & 2. In recognition of Native American Heritage Month, the screenings will take place on November 6 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
