2020: A Franciscan Moment

October 15, 2020 6:30pm to 7:30pm

The year 2020 has been a challenge for our nation. It has been a year like no other. Yet, its challenges call for Franciscan values. This is a Franciscan moment.

Our friends at the Franciscan Action Network reached out to us about some exciting new videos they have developed. Three videos, each about 2 minutes in length which have themes inspired by Pope Francis: Care for Creation, Compassion at the Border, and Morality in Government.

In these divisive times, it is so important to be open to civil discourse about societal issues. We are currently living in a Franciscan Moment. Because we have always been rooted in relationships and respect for human dignity, Franciscans are uniquely qualified to host discussions on how we build a better society.

With this in mind, we invite you to join us in a virtual discussion via Zoom to watch these videos and talk about these important topics through a faith lens. FAN staff members will be on hand to answer questions and lead the conversation.
