Kentucky, the birthplace of the Sisters of St. Francis now of Clinton, Iowa, is now home to a Clinton Franciscan sister who serves as pastoral associate in a large and busy parish in a university town. Called upon frequently to direct retreats and days of reflection, she too has gathered a group of associates who are spreading the Franciscan charism, as did the founders of the congregation, throughout the region.
