"I've done what is mine to do...now may the Lord show you what is yours to do."

                                            -St. Francis of Assisi

Are you seeking a life of meaning and service?

  • Do you yearn to experience the joy and fulfillment of serving God and humankind?
  • Are you ready to get involved with a committed group of people who are passionate about making the world a better place?
  • Are you inspired by the compassion of Jesus and eager to face the challenges of seeking peace, alleviating poverty, healing the planet and achieving social justice?

If so, then you belong here.

Clinton Franciscans enthusiastically choose way a of life that reflects our belief in living completely the Gospel of Christ in our times, just as St. Francis and St. Clare did in their times.

We invite you to learn more about the various ways to become part of the Clinton Franciscan family. The Clinton Franciscan community of today includes the consecrated, vowed life of the sisters; the special relationship of the sojourners; the committed life of the associates; the close association with our friends who share in our mission in myriad ways, and advocates with whom we work to promote active nonviolence and peacemaking, seek justice for those marginalized and care for all creation. Whether you choose to make a commitment to live in community or just want to help out in a soup kitchen once in awhile - your involvement is needed and welcomed! The work of the Gospel is never finished.

"I think it's the support of the community that is so vital, that's what I appreciate. We're all working for a common goal, with the Gospel as our guide."

- Sarah Martz OSF
