Advocacy Groups
The Clinton Franciscan Center for Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking coordinates groups of individuals who are interested in advocating for specific peace and social justice issues that affect our world. Advocacy Groups are made up of Sisters from within the congregation as well as Associates and members of the community at large.
These groups are:- Poverty and Social Justice
- Environment
- Immigration Reform
- Nuclear Disarmament
- Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking
Our Advocacy Groups are committed to these concerns and work to staying abreast of current developments, learning about the issues, sharing that knowledge and insight with others, and taking action.
We invite you to join us in this important work.
